I reached the crisis point this week. After all these years of writing, you might expect that I would know that this was coming, but...
And the crisis point - This is meaningless! It's stupid! You've over thought the whole thing! There's no audience for this!... and on and on.
And the next string of thoughts is that I need to abandon the project and move on to something else.
And sometimes I do.
But not this time. I still wonder if the current project isn't stupid and meaningless and no one will ever want to see it, but this one has enough interest for me, personally, that I'm going to keep going.
I finished the character sketches. I'm working on a detailed outline. I should begin writing next week, if not sooner.
Writing's the easy part. It's all this (expletive deleted) planning that causes stress.
*Translation from the French- "Sad Donkey Tzara," a famous pun on Tristan Tzara's name. Tzara was one of the leaders of the Dada movement.
